Confidentiality Statement

At Delaterra Consulting & Mediation, confidentiality isn’t just a policy it’s a core value. Mediation relies on trust. We understand the sensitive nature of the issues our clients bring to the table, and we’re committed to ensuring that everything discussed during the mediation process remains private.

Our Commitment to Confidentiality Includes:

  • Private Sessions
All mediation sessions are conducted in a secure, confidential setting, whether in person or via Zoom. No part of the conversation is recorded, and no one outside the session has access to what is discussed.

  • No Public Records
Unlike courtroom proceedings, mediation does not create a public record. What happens in mediation stays in mediation.

  • Respect for All Parties
We do not share information with outside parties including legal professionals, family members, or employers without your express consent.

  • Legally Protected Process
As outlined by Texas law and professional mediation standards, communication during mediation is protected and not admissible in court unless both parties agree otherwise.
